As Commissioner, I will prioritize preserving and enhancing open space, ensuring our parks remain places of beauty, recreation. Protecting natural habitats, ecosystems, environmental stewardship, gardening, and connecting with nature will be at the heart of my work.

I will advocate for greater sustainability efforts, flood control measures, protecting our lakefront and ravines. Thoughtful land management should prioritize open space while keeping community needs in mind.

Responsibly planning for the park district’s future needs through both new construction and scheduled maintenance of existing built infrastructure will ensure that our financial reasources are not squandered. Parks, trails, and gardens should be well maintained, accessible and inviting to all.

Encouraging nature-based education, arts education and recreation with interpretive signage throughout designed to educate and inspire community well-being.
